We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as device and browser type, log data, and basic usage activity. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure and working reliably.

We use your information to operate Our Bible Study: to authenticate sign-in links, deliver invitations and optional reminders, display reflections to the right members at the right time, respond to your requests, and improve the service. We do not use your reflections or study content to serve advertising.

Your reflections are visible only to members of your study, according to the platform's reveal rules. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform — such as our email and hosting providers — under agreements that limit how they may use it, or when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information, though your contributions to shared studies may remain visible attributed to a deleted user. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continually to safeguard your information and limit access to those who need it to operate the service.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information from your profile, or contact us at info@ourbiblestudy.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Our Bible Study supports parent-managed child accounts, which are created and overseen by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts or provide personal information without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided information to us outside of a parent-managed account, contact us at info@ourbiblestudy.com and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
